December 13, 2017……..NWCH Executive Director Sheila Stiley (in the middle) is pictured with Rusty Stump (on the left), AVP, Retail Bank Manager for First Interstate Bank (Lincoln City) and Trevor Brittsan (on the right), Retail Bank Manager (Newport) of First Interstate Bank collectively met and NWCH was presented with a generous donation from First Interstate Bank.
The funds will be used specifically to acquire a commercial refrigerator/freezer as required for “Cooking Matters” and “Seeds to Supper” courses, for not only Ridge residents, but also other Lincoln County community members.The courses will be jointly sponsored by the Oceana Literacy Center, Oregon State University and NWCH. All participants will learn how to cook and prepare healthy meals and receive nutritional information.
