December 14, 2017……..NWCH was advised that Executive Director Sheila Stiley and NWCH Board President Richard Musick were selected for two “Hank Rosso” scholarship grants from the University of Indiana’s Lilly Family School of Philanthropy to attend the University’s Fund Raising Management Courses program training in Phoenix, Arizona in February 2018.
Additionally, NWCH recently received a Meyers Memorial Foundation grant that will cover the other costs of the training: airfare, lodging, meals, etc and other costs. Meyers Memorial Trust is also providing the costs of tuition for another NWCH Board Director, Jack Baldwin, who is also attending the University of Indiana training in Phoenix with the other NWCH members.
NWCH would like to thank both organizations for contributing and off setting costs to receive this valuable training to enhance our organization’s efforts in establishing a successful fund raising program.
