NEW HOUSING STABILITY CHAIR CLAIRE HALL
Chair Val Valfre’s term has come to a close. Val served on
the Council since 2011 and we are incredibly grateful for the
leadership that he brought during a time of great transition.
Val helped the Agency push forward new initiatives
including the development of the Statewide Housing Plan.
With this change comes new leadership for the Council. I
am very pleased to announce that Governor Brown has
officially named a new chair: Lincoln County Commissioner
Claire Hall. Commissioner Hall joined the Council in 2018
and brings significant experience in leadership and
advocacy around housing and homelessness issues in her
coastal community, in Salem and on the national
stage. Please join us in welcoming Commissioner Hall to
her new leadership role!
